The Week I Almost Didn’t Hit Record
I’m excited to share my journey back to creating gaming and marketing content. After a week of procrastination, fighting my insecurities, and almost talking myself out of it—I finally hit record. Not because everything was perfect. Not because I had the ideal setup. But because I realized something: starting means committing, and I was avoiding that accountability.
Here’s the thing—my main camera died halfway through filming. It would’ve been so easy to stop right there, pack it up, and say “I’ll try again when everything’s perfect.” But I kept going. The footage isn’t perfect. The audio could be better. But Gary Vaynerchuk said it best: “Stop waiting for the perfect moment. It doesn’t exist. Start now.” He’s right. If I kept waiting for everything to align perfectly, I’d never create anything.
So here we are. My first video in four years is live. And you know what? I’ve already posted my first Short for the week, I’m working on my next video, and planning my first live stream in four years. Momentum beats perfection every single time.
